TRACKCORE, INC. RECEIVES INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY DESIGNATION FROM VIZIENT FOR TRACKCORE SAMEDAY

Updated: Aug 29, 2019

This unique designation recognizes products that bring improvements to the healthcare industry.

TrackCore, Inc. announced that TrackCore SameDay, a unique software product under the TrackCore brand, has received a 2017 Innovative Technology designation from Vizient, Inc., the largest member-driven healthcare performance improvement company in the country. The designation was based on direct feedback from hospital experts who interacted with TrackCore SameDay at the Vizient Technology Exchange in Denver, CO on September 14, 2017.

TrackCore SameDay is a software product that automates the bill-only process between hospitals and vendors for physician preference, bill-only implants. The software product automatically flags billing errors, identifies pricing discrepancies as well as fully automates and streamlines the purchase order process.

TrackCore SameDay begins when the nurse scans the item into TrackCore’s software or the hospital’s Electronic Medical Record in a fully integrated deployment during the procedure. Once the procedure is complete, a case summary is generated. The vendor representative receives and reviews the case summary in the vendor’s portal, SuppliCore. Any errors in pricing, quantity or product are flagged by the system for the hospital’s review. Approval by the hospital generates the purchase order. The vendor receives the purchase order in SuppliCore within minutes.

Matthew Edwards, Director of Sales for TrackCore, Inc. states, “We are excited about our innovative designation of TrackCore, Inc.’s industry-leading software into automating the bill-only purchase order process. Receiving the distinction of Innovative Technology from Vizient is an honor and validates that TrackCore SameDay is aligned with supporting Clinical and Supply Chain automation.”

Vizient represents a diverse membership base that includes academic medical centers, pediatric facilities, community hospitals, integrated health delivery networks and non-acute healthcare providers and represents more than $100 billion in annual purchasing volume. Through its Innovative Technology Program, Vizient works with member-led councils and task forces to review potentially innovative products. If it is determined that a product is innovative, Vizient may award a contract outside of the competitive bid cycle.

TrackCore, Inc. is a dynamic and growing company with a vision and commitment to improve patient safety surrounding tissues and implants. Now more than ever, TrackCore, Inc. is leading the industry by investing in new TrackCore products to help further streamline workflows in various hospital departments.
